Ishtar Gate for e-Payment System and Service (Blue) is a private shareholding company registered in Iraq, and it is licensed to conduct electronic payment services from the Central Bank of Iraq No. (14) for the year 2020 based on the Central Bank of Iraq Law No. (56) of 2004. Ishtar Gate is licensed to provide comprehensive services to enable Iraqi banks to implement all projects related to electronic payment, technically and commercially, including issuing and managing credit, prepaid and debit cards, operating, installing and managing ATMs, points of sale, and services to control operations to combat fraud and others.
Ishtar Gate aims to become the leader in the field of Fintech (Financial Technology) across Iraq and to be a major driver in raising the level of financial inclusion in Iraq in line with the strategic vision of the Central Bank of Iraq and the aspirations of the electronic government in Iraq by developing the financial infrastructure related to electronic payment services as well as developing payment channels and its spread, this will be added through the adoption of advanced technology available internationally, with the aim to provide advanced electronic financial payment services to all sections of Iraqi society.
Ishtar Gate seeks to cooperate with several key partners in the fields of banking, finance and information technology such as banks, international investors, technology companies and government ministries in order to customize our services to match the aspirations of quality for all Segments of Iraqi society.
